Headstory Animation is an independent animation studio. We make narrated, animated stories about everyday psychology: confidence, relationships, emotions, habits and the way people change.
Our videos are published on our YouTube channel, youtube.com/@headstoryanimation, with audio in many languages. They are made for a general adult and teen audience and are not a substitute for professional advice.
Headstory Uploader
Headstory Uploader is a small private desktop tool that the channel owner runs on their own computer to publish and measure the channel's own videos. It uses YouTube API Services. It is not offered to the public, it has no other users, and it never accesses anyone else's account.
What it does
- Uploads the channel's own finished videos to the Headstory Animation channel.
- Sets the details of those videos: titles, descriptions, translations, subtitles, thumbnails and playlists.
- Reads the channel's own statistics (for example views, watch time and audience retention) so we can plan better videos.
Why it asks for access
When the channel owner signs in with their Google Account, the tool asks only for the permissions it needs for the tasks above:
